Mental health is described by the World Health Organization (WHO) as ‘a state of mental well-being’, and something that is ‘more than just the absence of mental disorders or disabilities’. It is when an individual can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a valuable contribution to their community. Our mental well-being is essential for us to function effectively, interact with others and feel satisfied with our lives. However, our mental well-being is dynamic i.e. it can change from moment to moment. We all have times when we find it difficult to cope with life, and what affects someone’s mental well-being won’t necessarily affect others in the same way. And just like we take care of our physical health, it is important to take care of our mental health too.
Register for one of our Webinars and effectively take care of your mental health. We will inform you the date and time once the Webinar is scheduled.
Very relevant, relatable and gripping subjects as well as sessions, even more important now then before. Hamsaz was able to explain the science and art in these byte sized sessions.
The session was very insightful and well put together! I especially loved how the content was grounded in research, and how the science behind the concept was explained in simple terms.
I had the pleasure of attending two workshops organised by the 7th Fold. Both the sessions were extremely well organised - right from depth of research of the subject to examples, case studies, references, inferences, approach to handling day to day challenges and reading material. Attending these sessions made me mindful of how these otherwise neglected subjects can dynamically transform our day to day lives for the better, both personally and professionally.
The topic was well presented with examples which each of us may have read at some point of time, only may have forgotten in the race against time. In the present time where every morning opens up to so much uncertainties, insecurities and raises questions on our existence, a lesson and reflection in Building Resilience is definitely an eye opener. Thank you Hamsaz for conducting such a thought provoking session in a simple and relatable way.
We all go through tough times in our lives where we can use an expert who will help us arrive at insights and get over our self defeating emotions. Just like when we were weak at Maths, we went to a coaching class, we need to go to a Mental Health Coach when we think we are weak at managing our emotions. Therapy sessions can be used for distress, disorders and development. For these therapy sessions, the Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Rational Emotive Behaviour techniques will be used. These are the most widely used talking therapies.
We believe that coaching conversations have the power to benefit an individual's thinking, learning, actions and performance. We consider that with the right coaching, everyone has the ability to manage and overcome bottlenecks caused by the environment or sometimes their own thinking. Our Lead Coach is a Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation and ACTP and has several hours of coaching experience from mid to senior level employees.
